The Artists

Matthias Bartholomey

2000 - 2003 - Participation in the International Orchestra Institute Attergau under the patronage of the Vienna Philharmonic under conductor Valery Gergiev, Mariss Jansons and Bobby McFerrin. 2001 - Founding member of "UnQuartett" and numerous appearances with the ensemble in 2003 - soloist in the Cello Concerto by Camille Saint-Saens with the "Academic Association Orchestra Vienna" in 2003 - a founding member of the band "Metaphysis" (3 cellos) 2004 - 1 Prize in "Musica Juventutis"
Numerous performances as a soloist and chamber musician in the Wiener Musikverein, Wiener Konzerthaus, Salzburg's Festspielhaus / Felsenreitschule, Mirabell Palace / Salzburg, Schloss Puchberg / Wels, Castle Niederfellabrunn, as well as Japan, America, Italy and Slovenia.
